Through the Lens: Winter Returns…Again

Another day, another Sean Winter final table. Today marks the 5th final table of the series for Sean Winter as he leads the final 6 in Event 9. Winter only trails Stephen Chidwick in the overall points race, and a solid result today can really shake up the standings heading into the main. Nick Schulman also jumped into contention with his win in the $25k Mixed Game Event 8 yesterday. While last year was all Chidwick, this year it’s all up for grabs heading into the final event.

It’s been so fun watching these two battle it out over the last week. Chidwick on the verge of going back-to-back with USPO titles, Winter making the final table of every event he plays. Two of the worlds best battling it out under the bright lights of the PokerGO Studio. I cannot wait to see how this plays out!
Nick Schulman is usually captivating the audience on PokerGO with his commentary, but yesterday he got a chance to showcase his knowledge of the game on the other side of the camera. Schulman took down the $25k Mixed Game event. With the event carrying a points multiplier, this boosts Schulman into contention for the USPO trophy race as well.
2018 Super High Roller Bowl champion Ike Haxton made his first appearance at this years USPO yesterday. Haxton couldn’t get anything going, but I would not be shocked to see him make a run in today’s $100K.
